It is only an estimate your Chihuahuas weight can vary as an adult depending if it is over weight, it's genetics, bloodline, over fed, and ect. Weight before the puppy is 8 weeks old may be inaccurate due to the puppy is nursing or because the puppy is being weaned and still may have some puppy fat from mama's milk.
How to use the Chihuahuas weight chart?
The left hand column of the table gives the age of the puppy in weeks. To determine it's expected weight when fully grown, weigh the puppy in ounces, look along the line of the figure against the number of weeks of it's age, and take the figure nearest to the present weight of the puppy. The expected adult weight of the puppy will be that given at the foot of the column in which the figure nearest to it's weight occurs. |
